1. Visa-free Entry to Jeju Island

Jeju offers a very flexible entry/departure policy, which allows visitors to stay without a visa for up to 30 days when visitors enter Jeju Island directly from abroad, not through a city within Korea.

  • If visitors transfer at Incheon, or Gimpo, or Busan (any cities within Korea), they need a visa clearance to enter Korea according to their nationalities.
  • If visitors use Official Passport (not General Passport), they will need to clear up the purpose according to their nationalities.

Visa-free Entry to Jeju: 184 Countries
(Eleven countries are required to apply for a visa: Afghanistan, Cuba, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Nigeria, Macedonia, Palestine, Sudan, and Syria.)

2. Acceptance Letter (for visa application)

As an author or co-author, an official letter-of-acceptance that confirms that your paper has been accepted and reaffirms the expectation that you will attend the Conference is available for download. The letter can be used for visa and travel support applications.
The download will be available from PaperPlaza once the review process is over.
The procedure for obtaining your acceptance letter is as follows:
i) Go to the PaperPlaza and Login
ii) Enter your PIN number and Password.
iii) In the Access a Workspace (next to ASCC 2021) choose:
Enter Author or Proposer of Submission # (your paper #).
iv) Then, Choose an Option, and click on Request an Acceptance Letter.
v) Fill out the necessary Information.
vi) Download the pdf file of your Acceptance Letter.

A letter of invitation will not be provided for persons who are not co-authors.

2. Attendance Certificate

An attendance certificate will be delivered to the registered participant presenting a paper during the session in which the paper is presented. Limited to participants not presenting any paper, attendance certificates will be delivered at the Registration Desk
